Map skills

What I find easy about basic map skills is compass rose and the key. For the compass rose I remembered a way to remember where north,east,south and west is by thinking to myself never eat santa’s waffles. It was easy for me to remember and for the key all you have to do is look at the map and see what your trying to find.  

What I do find hard is coordinates and continents and ocean because for the continents and ocean I forget where they are and sometimes get mixed up were there located and what their capitals are and what they are. I didn't get how you do coordinates.

Basic map skills are necessary because if you want a location you need to use a map and see. They help me with geography because when I need to know where a town or an ocean is located I can look at the map
