Standard Of Living

Why standard of living is important is because standard of living shows how people live in a place and how much people can't get there needs and wants and if there healthy and if they have enough education, It shows what a place is about.
How standard of living is the same as five themes is when you look at a location you need to see whats its like there and if your going to a place you would want to see how they live.Standard of living also connects with physical description because it shows if there are no roads there then it shows that there is a low amount of # of paved roads and if there aren't any hospitals that shows that there health is bad also if there isn't a lot of schools that shows that there education is low.

Map skills

What I find easy about basic map skills is compass rose and the key. For the compass rose I remembered a way to remember where north,east,south and west is by thinking to myself never eat santa’s waffles. It was easy for me to remember and for the key all you have to do is look at the map and see what your trying to find.  

What I do find hard is coordinates and continents and ocean because for the continents and ocean I forget where they are and sometimes get mixed up were there located and what their capitals are and what they are. I didn't get how you do coordinates.

Basic map skills are necessary because if you want a location you need to use a map and see. They help me with geography because when I need to know where a town or an ocean is located I can look at the map
